Before August 2016 ends. We give credit to good ambiance attract people. With its portray of different places, bright natural light, huge table , chandelier and quirky Authentic-style you’d be forgiven for thinking that you’ve escaped and landed somewhere along the California. The decor, the design. It was very pleasing to the eyes and senses.
We walked in a restaurant and a beautiful lady came up to us with a smile and gave us assistance to dine. Then she shows us the menus and she took our orders.
When the waitress came back, we ordered two appetizer for free because of the three cards voucher given to us from previous visit in Burjuman branch.
They’re big servings and thankfully we manage to share it with four people. I can’t taste the lobster but it’s tasty and creamy because of some herbs on it.
This is mild spicy, sour and a little bit of creamy. I don’t think if salad suit on this because it has after taste. Its like bitter or something.
For the main dish, we ordered pizza called The Works -Spicy Italian sausage, rustic pepperoni, Cremini mushrooms, Mozzarella, red onions, green peppers, olives and wild Greek oregano.
It was delicious. It might be look trash pizza but the sausage and herbs are chewy and just so full of flavour. One sliced will be enough for small eaters. We just really loved the dish. Also, it was my first time to tried to ate one whole leave of oregano and taste was so good.
Next one –KUNG PAO SPAGHETTI their very own twist on a Chinese classic with garlic, scallions, peanuts and hot red chilies.
Hazelle, Gee-ann and babe told me that this one was really good. Having strong flavours from spice, a tastes of salt, and a little bit chewy of the noodles over all was excellent. This one plate served for 4 to 5 persons.
I thought we were done, we forgot the dessert. Yes! we had dessert using the last voucher for free. After we finished all the meals, the waitress came back to collect all the empty plates in-front of us.
Another waiter came around us to asked something about their food and service. We answered, it was good and excellent. And we follow back the dessert we hoping for.
The Banana & Chocolate Brownie – chocolate brownie with hazelnut, fresh banana, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.
If you have sweet-tooth probably this suits you guys. Chocolate overload and ice cream.
They put the ice cream on top followed by a chocolate syrup. Since sweetness is something I don’t mind, I ate once. The brownie was a little bit hard and I thought that the purpose of ice cream on top was to blend the coldness and the hardness of brownie to be tender.
Overall, we enjoyed everything set in-front of us. We would recommend The California Pizza Kitchen. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and the staffs are friendly. Perfect for dates, lunch out, occasions, and even regular days. Just visit any branch of California Pizza Kitchen around you. 🙂
