Last Sunday we organized a simple surprise dinner for the fathers’s day. Primarily, it’s dinner so one of our main dish is Barbecue Pork Ribs. The others are Cheesy Lasagna, Cheese Stick which already posted. And lastly the Fruit Salad for the next blog.
We bought this frozen meat from supermarket together with the other dish.When we got home,she (Hazelle) defrost the meat into water for couple of minute. When meat was a little bit tender she marinate it well over night with her homemade barbecue sauce.
These dish was the best barbecue ribs you’ve ever tasted . We’ve made this one time and really think it tastes great. A tender, fall off the bone deliciousness.
Here’s how to make Barbecue Pork Ribs ala Aze .
- 1/4 cup Spicy Banana Ketchup
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 sugar
- 2 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp oil
- dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- drizzle of lemon
- bell pepper
- pineapple chunk
- pineapple juice
- drizzle of pineapple juice
- 1 whole baby pork ribs
1.In a large bowl, combine onion, garlic,dried basil, ketchup,oyster sauce, soy sauce,oil, vinegar,drizzle of lemon, sugar, salt and pepper.
2.Transfer to large foil tray and arrange it properly. Cover it and leave in refrigerator over night.
1.Reheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Add ribs and sear until browned. This may have to be done in several batches.
2.Bake ribs in preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours. Turn meat every 30 minutes.
3.Once you see the juiciness of the sauce, tender and something darken on both side put the bell pepper, pineapple and juice from pineapple. Cook for another 10 minutes.
4. That’s it. Turn off the heat and served it immediately!!
