My food buddy name Hazelle shared with us her simple but yummy recipe.
This very simple and quick dish is usually found in bars used as beer foods. But this time, she added new variety for dinner. Surely your kids will love this. Blended with sweet ketchup and potato (veggies). Actually this is better option than plain fried hotdog.
Try this simple recipe.
Ingredients: serving size 5-6
- 6 regular hotdog (diagonal sliced)
- 4 potato
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic, minced
- 4 scallion, chopped
- UFC banana ketchup
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- low sodium,
- 2 tablespoon of sesame oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups water
Prepare the frying pan over high heat, and pour in sesame oil. Cook regular hotdog, stirring frequently, until is toasted. Remove from pan and set aside.
Saute garlic, onion and some scallion in the same pan for 2 minutes.
Add now the potato.
Season with pepper, salt, vinegar, soy sauce,sugar (sweetened) and ketchup.Then add water
Leave it for 12 minutes to cook the potato.
lastly, add the hotdog. Cook for couple of minutes.
Then serve hot Lomi with rice.
